Flan Recipe

The ladies from are church put together a recipe book. Here is a recipe that I really like. I hope you will enjoy making it.


1 12 oz can of evaporated milk
1 12 oz can of condensed milk
4 eggs
1 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/4 cup of white sugar


1. Mix eggs in blender; add evaporated; condensed milk and vanilla. Set apart.

2. In a range's medium heat, melt sugar in a pan stirring till you obtain a light caramel color.

3. Pour caramel in a round 8'' backing pan.

4. Add contains of the blender on top of caramel and place covered pan in a larger pot with boiling water half way of smaller pan.

5. Steam for approximately 45 minutes or until knife inserted in the center comes out clean.

6. Remove flan from water and refrigerate until chilled. Flip upside down on serving plate.
